Often times, students and families may be dealing with a problem or are worried about a friend, and reach out to Counseling Center staff looking for local therapists, counselors, or psychiatrists, as well as access to online resources. There are a number of support services that you can contact outside of the College.
Due to health insurance networks along with areas of focus and specific backgrounds of therapists, we recommend that all students and families start by going onto either of the links below to get a listing based on filtered requirements (i.e. health insurance, gender, language, issues, etc.). Counseling Center staff can then assist individuals with answering questions around the best fit for students.
In addition, the following are local counseling groups that may be of assistance.
