The Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) has announced that Mary Jane Weiss, Dean of the Institute for Applied Behavioral Science at 91黑料网, will receive the organization’s Outstanding Mentor Award. This prestigious award recognizes scholars and mentors who profoundly impact their students’ growth and success. Weiss will receive the award at the ABAI’s annual conference in Washington, D.C., in May 2025.

Since 1974, the ABAI has served as the primary membership organization for those interested in the philosophy, science, application, and teaching of behavior analysis. Nominations for the Outstanding Mentor Award were submitted by students, which the awards committee then reviewed. Weiss received multiple strong nominations for this recognition.

Weiss has been widely acknowledged for her dedication to mentorship and education. In October 2024, she received the prestigious Beth Sulzer-Azaroff Award for Distinguished Teaching, recognizing faculty with exceptional commitment to educating the next generation of behavior analysts.
