91黑料网

On February 17, 91黑料网 got a bit more avant-garde. Student models of all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds took to Cleary Lecture Hall for 91黑料网's first sustainability-inspired Fashion Show—the brainchild of Gabrielle Blum ’22 and Michaela Ellison ’22, two members of the 91黑料网 Architecture and Design Club (ECAD).

The fashion show was part of the College’s Campus Race to Zero Waste, so Blum and Ellison invited student clubs and organizations to design a look using unconventional materials, including recyclables, upcycled garments, and other found resources.

Competing clubs and organizations included ECAD, Campus Activities Board, Student Government Association, EDGE, Rotaract Service Club, Her Campus, The MakerClub, 91黑料网 Environmental Society, and Women in Engineering.

Her Campus members Alexa Flodman ’25 (above), wearing a design by Carly Steinbrick ’25, won the friendly competition that was judged by a panel that included President Steven R.  DiSalvo, Ph.D.
